Day two

What a truly blessed day! There’s nothing quite like the joy He grants when His children come together to worship His glorious name!

Even though most of us couldn’t go back to sleep after waking up at 3:30am, His grace was truly evident as we we all (minus the kiddos) stayed awake till about 5pm (;

After a morning team meeting about scheduling, and hearing Josh, Marda, and Andre’s huge hearts for the people of Pretoria, we had lunch (graciously prepared by Marda Mack) and unpacked the hundreds of donated items from their boxes and suitcases. Seeing these donations (from four different churches) all put together was such a beautiful picture of God’s love and overly abundant provision!

After all of this, we had the huge blessing of worshipping with the Living Hope church body! Josh Mack preached on Ephesians 4:23, and the Grace team had a fantastic time worshipping the bigness of our Omnipotent God with the children of Living Hope Church (:

After church we enjoyed a great time of fellowship, relaxation, braai dinner (BBQ), and had the amazing privilege of hearing Newton’s testimony of God’s saving grace in his life.

Although we’re all pretty tired, we are thankful for the (mostly) restful and peaceful day we’ve had to get our bearings and prepare for the work ahead. We look forward with great anticipation to see how God will continue to use our team to accomplish His will for His glory!

Prayer requests for tomorrow include…
-Health for the team, especially for John who has not been feeling well today.
-Fair working weather (not raining or too hot)
-That we would be able to finish all the work that needs to be done before the open house on Saturday.

We are so thankful for your prayerful support! God’s blessings to you all!

All for His glory,
Deborah and Matthew for the team 🙂
